And because they haven't been able to, even after years of traditional therapy, believe that they are the problem. I routinely work with clients who understand their traumas inside out but can’t bridge the emotional gap.

  • Unlike traditional modalities that primarily focus on talk and cognitive insights, somatic processing incorporates body-based techniques to help you recognize and release stored stress and trauma, making it highly effective for conditions manifesting as both physical and emotional pain.

    In a somatic therapy session, expect a blend of discussion and guided physical and emotional processing exercises. I will help you explore your emotional state and physical sensations, using your body's innate wisdom to release tension and trauma.

  • Every individual is unique, but many experience improvement after just one session. Scheduling a consultation is the best way to understand how quickly this process can benefit you.

  • Somatic processing is a natural process everyone engages in, whether consciously or not. However, those with greater access to their emotions often progress faster. To determine if this method is right for you, the best step is to book a consultation.

  • For rapid transformation, two 50-minute sessions per week over three months are ideal. Alternatively, one session per week over six months is also effective. Reach out to find the best schedule for you. There is minimal homework between sessions.

  • We provide payment plans on a case-by-case basis to accommodate individual needs. However, we do not offer a sliding scale due to Heather's extensive pro bono work in other settings. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out, and we will do our best to support you.

Heather holds graduate degrees in social sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of California, Riverside (UCR), and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). She combines traditional and innovative techniques to offer comprehensive coaching solutions, ensuring each client receives personalized care and support.

A passionate advocate for personal and global transformation, Heather brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy to her practice.
